BESTAR has been a leading supplier of cold rolled heat treated products for over 20 years. Thanks to our customers' valuable input, and our highly trained technical staff, BESTAR has been able to significantly influence quality improvements in cold rolling and heat treatment technology. In 2001 BESTAR, together with its German mill partners, entered the global market for band saw steel in heat treated coils.

Since that time, customers around the world have come to rely on our high quality specialty grades and specialty conditions for their band saw steel needs. Of course BESTAR distinguishes between regional different requirements of the saw industry and therefore offers two different specifications: The "European-Line" and the "American-Line". BESTAR offers saw manufacturers a cost advantage with a high end steel product, while still enabling them to enjoy the very best customer service and quality to which they have become accustomed.
