BESTAR serves customers around the globe on any continent.
At a time when small-sized steel mills were being closed down and
liquidated across Europe, the idea of co-operating to cover the raw material
requirements of saw and knife manufacturers formed the basis
for the foundation of the company on 20 December 1978. BESTAR
quickly advanced to become an independent business enterprise.
BESTAR matched the exacting quality and reliability standards
set by the the industry, and rapidly became an internationally recognized
service center. BESTAR has developed from being a classic steel
trader with self-owned warehouse facilities into a Steel
Service Center for the tool industry. In 1993, a steel
grade developed by BESTAR was awarded a patent. Presently
BESTAR's main operation is in Remscheid (Germany) and serves.
Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceania.
The North-, Central- and South American Markets
are served by BESTAR LLC in Atlanta (Georgia, U.S.A.).
