is known worldwide for the BEST:
Securing a high quality standard begins long before the products are actually manufactured. For this reason we have defined BESTAR standards in close co-operation with our partners. Standards ensure that the making of steel with chemical compounds is perfectly harmonized to suit individual applications. Standards govern the way process engineers finish our products in various work operations and, of course, standards for the rolling process that stipulate very clearly defined, narrow tolerances. All this means that the manufacturing parameters and the quality of the product produced are continuously influenced in a positive manner. Besides the manufacturing mechanisms, we have also established an efficient quality assurance system that is supported by metallurgical laboratory tests. BESTAR has been certified by Lloyd's Register as per ISO 9001 since January 1996.
